30 Day Challenge - Day 17

Advertisers can’t sell us things unless they can convince us that we have a problem that can be solved by buying their product so they bombard us with messages that convince us that we are broken.

Think about the typical “fitness” infomercial. A big percentage of the air time is devoted to showing you footage of wildly unrealistic “fitness models”. Why? To show you what’s possible when you spend $2,500 on a home gym? No - those models didn’t struggle their way to 6% body fat with 20 minute workouts on the gym equipment in the ad you’re seeing.

Those infomercials show you those models to say this is what health should look like.

If you don’t have six-pack abs, then there’s something wrong with you.

If your booty doesn’t look like a famous actress, you’re somehow deficient.

As we’ll talk about in today’s workshop session, nothing could be further from the truth, because you are not broken.

For today’s workout, I’ve got a really special treat.
